Child, Adolesent, and Caregiver Groups

Group therapy is usually made up of 6 to 10 participants that have the same goals. Group therapy is more cost effective than all other methods of therapy. The following groups are held on an ongoing basis.

Social Skills and Problem Solving Groups

Programs for children (ages 3-5, 5-7, 8-10, and 10-12) with ADHD, Non-verbal Learning Disabilities, Social Anxiety Disorders, Asperger's Syndrome, and other related disorders. This program is dedicated to teaching children basic life skills, which include building self-esteem, self-control, self-confidence, empathy, problem solving skills, and social skills. Every child needs to master these skills to get along in school, make friends, get along with family, to be an asset to the community, and to succeed in life. These life lessons are learned through the use of story telling, art, drama, activities, and music.

Parenting Support Groups and Seminars

Programs for parents, teachers, nannies, grandparents, and caregivers of children that are faced with challenges of raising children in the 21st century. The mission is to support parents/caregivers in raising their children in a healthy, loving, enviroment. Enhance communication, understanding, and knowledge of their youngsters, as well as, how to play and have fun. Give them the skills that will alow them to help their loved ones have a productive and successful life and a healthy relationship with their family. Empower them to feel confident when using consequences, setting boundries, and implementing rules.

Adolescent Groups

Programs for adolescence who are challenged with tough issues and life changing decisions. My goal is to support young people in having a productive and successful life by helping them improve their self-image, learn to resist peer pressure, achieve goals, get along with their parents, as well as build a high self-esteem and healthy friendships. To help them reach their potentials to grow into successful students, caing adults, and productive citizens. Every young person should be able to safely express their feelings, negotiate problems fairly, and live together in peace, cooperation in families/schools, and in their world.
